Ella Thorsett from Summit OR ran a personal best time of 2:16.20 to win the 800 meters and dip under 2:20 for the first time. Summit's invitational meet filled much of the day and the school's prom was scheduled for Saturday night. 

Summit OR sophomore Hayden Boaz ran a personal best time of 4:01.75 to win the 1,500 meters at the Summit Invitational on Saturday in Bend, Ore.

Josie Donelson of Lake Oswego ran a personal best 54.68 seconds for a meet record in the 400 meters at the Summit Invitational in Bend. The time is tied for the fifth-fastest in Oregon history. 

Dane Giessler of Caldera High in Bend won the boys 800 meters in 1:57.23 to break his own school record. Caldera High opened in the fall of 2021.
